Jeu de famille, a card game

In 2018, Serge Darpeix, the festival director of the Rencontres de 9e art from Aix-en-Provence, asked me if I wanted to design a card game for the festival. The idea was to transfer typical elements from Aix into a funny kind of a game. We decided on a quartet, a game in which you always have to find four cards of the same theme together. The cards were distributed in local stores in Aix and the visitors of the festival were encouraged to go to the places and pick up one card each. Those who had collected all the cards at the end had also made an extensive tour of the city. Since I love playing cards, this was one of the jobs I enjoyed the most.
